Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data LevFin Academy collects, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent laws.
Last updated: 7 September 2026.
1. Who we are
LevFin Academy (“we”, “us”) operates the website levfinacademy.com and the live masterclass and materials offered through it. The data controller responsible for your personal data is Federico Etchelecu (NIF Y0157012M), Calle Mimosa 1, 28232 Las Rozas de Madrid, Spain. For any privacy question you can reach us at federico.etchelecu@levfinacademy.com.
2. What we collect
- Contact details — when you enrol, make a purchase, request a public publication download, or contact us directly, so we can deliver the file or the service and respond to you.
- Enrolment & payment details — if you buy a place, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your contact details; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Desk bookings — the booking contact supplies the firm/team, their own contact details, and each participant’s name and email address. We use these to administer the booking, send individual welcome materials and calendar invitations, and support the participants. We receive participant details from the colleague arranging the booking, rather than necessarily from the participant directly. Desk registration does not subscribe participants to marketing.
- Aggregate usage data — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (page views, referrers, country) that do not identify you individually.
- Technical logs — standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
3. How we use it, and our legal basis
- To send a requested public publication and add you to the LevFin Academy list — consent, which you can withdraw by unsubscribing.
- To respond to a direct enquiry you send us — legitimate interests or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To deliver a course you have purchased and provide support — performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure and understand aggregate traffic — our legitimate interests in running and improving the service.
- To meet accounting and tax obligations for purchases — legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work, each acting as our processor under contract:
- Stripe — payment processing. Privacy policy.
- MailerLite — email list and publication-download signups. Privacy policy.
- Netlify — website hosting and delivery. Privacy policy.
- Google — programme email, calendar invitations and Google Meet sessions. Privacy policy.
- Clouding — private server hosting for desk-registration records and the programme-delivery queue.
- Plausible Analytics — cookieless, aggregate analytics. Privacy policy.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies & analytics
This website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics (Plausible) are cookieless and do not track you across sites. After you submit an email for a public publication download, we set a first-party session cookie on levfinacademy.com solely so that same browser can fetch the file without repeating the form. When you proceed to checkout, Stripe may set cookies on its own domain, governed by its privacy policy above.
7. How long we keep it
We keep direct enquiries only as long as needed to respond and maintain appropriate business records. Purchase records are retained for as long as required by applicable accounting and tax law. You can ask us to erase data that is no longer required.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email federico.etchelecu@levfinacademy.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, the AEPD).
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted on this page.
